I was at shopping today picking up ingredients for one of Sara’s recipes, which I am very excited about, and I thought about you guys… mainly because your going to see that recipe when it’s finalized as a dish, but also because I thought about something I could share as well. I needed to get mild chili beans and I went strait to the only spot on the aisle I could think of… the Bush’s section. The huge wall of all variety of beans, but with an equal array of chili beans. It’s my go to place for these ingredients. I thought about all that as I dropped the can in the cart and quickly moved on. Sara needed me back home by 11:00 and the shopping list she gave me was all over the map.
But I know I’ll be back for more Bush’s beans because they have a bean for every purpose, so Bush’s and grocery trips kind of go hand in hand. Why I am so settled on this and so enthusiastic about sharing this is that ingredients are super important. Lot’s of times the shopping list is very general and I make the decision on brands. I sometimes shop for the best price and make no other comparisons and I sometimes go for what I know is going to have the best flavor, or be healthier, and so on.
I became a fan of Bush’s on these ingredient shopping trips because I found that Bush’s products are healthy, tasty and inexpensive. And because of their versatility I often stock up for the pantry without any planned recipe. They are a convenient pantry staple and good to always have around, for last minute meal needs. Now with fall just on the horizon, who wouldn’t love a nice, hot, savory, smoky bowl of Bush’s beans chili and some delicious corn bread?
