GWENDOLYN AND LAWSON’S FIRST ADVENTURE

August 18, 2017 Eric Leave a Comment

Sara and I love taking Gwendolyn and Lawson to the Farmers Market on Saturday’s.  We have a Patisserie that we look forward to having breakfast at.  The selection of pastries is so impressive and everything is amazing.  The best thing about it is that when we are there we feel so immersed in French culture that it reminds us of having breakfast in the France Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase.  The farmers market is almost a secondary attraction, but we like to shop their for whatever fresh produce we may need for the week and grab lunch at one of the many great food booths.  They have Greek, Mexican, German and Pan Asian fare, plus cheese steaks and donuts.  In a sense it is it’s own kind of world showcase.  Not everybody gets it, but Sara and I are big disney fans and Epcot is our favorite park.  If you agree, show your love for Epcot in the comments.

We always enjoyed going to the farmers market in summer time, but it has been so special to be able to take the twins along for the ride.  We get stopped a lot by people who want to bask in their cuteness and we even bumped into another dad of twins who stopped to chat with us a bit.

One recent addition that I found out will be in the food section all summer is a great tamale place I never would have tried at their regular location, but the tamales are big, fluffy and cake like.  Super delicious.  The taco’s are very flavorful, too.  If you stop by, don’t doubt whether they are worth the price tag.  They are.

There is so much to do at the Farmers Market.  We don’t ever stay long, but we always have a great visit and it has been so fun getting to have it be one of Gwendolyn and Lawson’s first outside experiences.
